Elsie Dinsmore Series (by Martha Finley) – An old classic, but still an amazing series for girls. I would highly suggest books 1-8, which follow through each stage in life, from a young child to a grandmother. There are 28 books total in this series, but I personally feel like books 1-8 are the best, and very complete as their own series. These books are available for FREE on the Kindle.
