Play Through the Bible – Noah

Noah’s Ark. A free printable Bible lesson from Trueway Kids. Each of the Trueway Kids' Bible lessons include a lesson outline, story, worksheets, craft & activity ideas, games, coloring pages, and more.

I Can Read! Noah and the Ark

Noah and the Ark. One of the first books we ever got for our kids, this story of Noah’s Ark is told very simply for young kids to understand and has some great illustrations to help keep the attention of young children.

Step Into Reading (Level 2) - Noah’s Ark

Noah’s Ark. Step Into Reading is one of my favorite book series for kids. This particular features the story of Noah. The art work isn’t as exciting at some of the other books in this series, but it is still very colorful and the story is simple and engaging for kids.

Building Noah’s Ark

Building Noah’s Ark. This activity is an especially big hit with little boys. Children use their toy tools (with plastic nuts and bolts) to mount pieces of cardboard to a box and actually construct their own version of the ark! When it’s done, don’t forget to fill it with their stuffed animals!
This Black and Decker Junior Kids Tool Set is our favorite. Otherwise, if you’re just needing the nuts and bolts and not a whole tool set you might like the DLOnline Jumbo Nuts and Bolts Set.

Cardboard Box Noah’s Ark

Cardboard Box Noah’s Ark. Making an ark for the animals doesn’t have to be complicated, just a simple cardboard box can do the trick!

Container Constructed Noah’s Ark

Container Constructed Noah’s Ark. There’s no link to accompany this picture, it’s just an image I found on Pinterest, but the idea is pretty simple, just taking some old containers (one larger and one smaller) and forming them into an ark and filling it with stuffed animal toys.

Rain Cloud Streamer Craft

Rain Cloud Streamer Craft. When talking about the flood, this simple rain cloud streamer craft could be a lot of fun for the kids to make . . . plus, when the flood is over you can follow it up with a rainbow version of the craft (see below).

Rainbow Streamer Craft

Rainbow Streamer Craft. There are a lot of options for making a rainbow craft, but I really appreciate the simplicity of this particular craft; when working with young kids the more simple the craft the better.

Noah’s Ark Playable Coloring Book App

Noah’s Ark Playable Coloring Book App. I wish there were more apps like this one! My kids really love this app. It is basically a coloring book app, but when kids are done adding color to the pages they can watch their pictures in simple animation as they listen to the story of Noah.

Printable Mini Coloring Book: Noah

Noah Builds a Boat is a printable, mini book that is free to download and print to help teach children the story of Noah. Available both in color and black and white (coloring book). On this same page you can also find links to the printable book, “Noah and the Amazing Ark”.

Two By Two

Two By Two. A song by Judy Rogers (from her album “Consider God’s Creatures”) that teaches about the story of Noah and ties in lessons about faith, obedience, and salvation.

Buddy Davis: Come On Board Music Album

Buddy Davis: Come On Board Music Album. Buddy Davis has a lot of great Bible story type songs on this album, many of which feature Noah and the Ark. You won’t want to miss “Noah’s Ark Blues”, “We Hold Our Breath and We Pinch Our Nose”, “The Rain is Coming Down”, and “The Unicorns Went Poof”.

Buddy Davis: Noah Believed

Buddy Davis: Noah Believed. Another great music album that focuses a lot on the story of Noah.

God’s Story - Noah. Short, but very informative and entertaining teachings. A great way to introduce the story or use as a way to reinforce the lesson.

Read and Share Bible – The Flood. A very short and simple animated Bible story. Pretty short and simple, but the animation is cute and the story sticks with the Biblical account of the story.

VeggieTales Noah’s Ark. The animation is a little different from other VeggieTale movies, but this full length movie still has the same characters, same great music, and same charm that is really exciting to kids. This movie tells a VeggieTale version of the story of Noah’s Ark and teaches kids the importance of trusting God’s plan and the fact that God always keeps His promises.

Inside Noah’s Ark: Why It Worked

Inside Noah’s Ark: Why It Worked. This book is much too advanced for young children, but for a homeschool mom who is faced with endless questions from my kids sometimes teachers need books too. I found this particular book to be extremely informative and full of interesting facts that have really helped to prepare me to better teach the topic to my children and answer their more challenging questions.

Noah’s Ark: Thinking Outside the Box DVD

Noah’s Ark: Thinking Outside the Box DVD. Another great resource for equipping teachers. This documentary video really helps to bring out the “realness” of the Noah’s Ark story and to address many of the doubts and misconceptions that have filtered into the church over the years. Also available to Watch on YouTube.
