Homeschool Circus Day
Take a step beyond just learning about the circus and host your own Homeschool Circus Day. You can make it as simple or complex as you like, but get your kids involved in sharing their skills and talents (while getting lots of energy out at the same time).

Adam Racoon and the Circus Master (by Glen Keane)
Adam Racoon and the Circus Master. This is definitely a favorite! The entire Adam Racoon series features Christian based stories that are meant to be parables for children. This particular story features Adam Racoon running away to join the circus, a very creative retelling of the parable of the prodigal son.

Put Me in the Zoo (by Robert Lopshire)
Put Me in the Zoo is a fun story about an unusual animal that just doesn’t seem to fit in at the zoo. It’s a great book for exploring the different colors, but can also be a great introduction story for zoo or circus themed lessons.
YouTube: Put Me in the Zoo
Put Me in the Zoo. I couldn’t find a good animated version of this story, but this YouTube video was kind of cute, it takes the story and turns into into a song.
