Praying for Your Husband:
Father, I pray that you would give ___(name)___ an added measure of faith today. Enable him to trust you more fully, to believe in you, your word, the power of your name, your goodness, your ways, and the promises you have made.
Put a longing in his heart to talk with you and to hear your voice. Give him an understanding of what it means to bask in your presence. May he seek you, rely totally upon you, be led by you, put you first in his life, and acknowledge you in everything he does.
Lord, you have said that faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Feed his soul with your word so that his faith will grow more and more each day. Remind him of who you are and give him the faith to believe that with you all things are possible. Give him an unfailing certainty that what you have promised you will do.
Make his faith a shield of protection against the lies and flaming arrows of the enemy.
Put his faith into action to move the mountains in his life.
You are God. You are the Almighty. You are the Lord above all lords. You are the King of the Universe. With a word you brought all things into existence. With a mighty hand you led your people out of Egypt, out of bondage. All that is in Heaven, and all that is on earth, you hold in your hand. All things were created by you, and for you. Nothing is impossible for you!
Help us to remember that we do not need to trust in our own ability to exercise unwavering faith, but rather to look only to you, the author and perfector of our faith.
You are able!
We believe you can do all that you have promised simply because you are exactly who you say you are. Help us keep our eyes fixed on you, not measuring the height of the mountains, the size of the waves, or the strength of the storms, but keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus and leaving you free to do all that you have purposed – far beyond human comprehension.
