Fingerprint Ants Craft

Fingerprint Ants Craft. We had some fun using fingerprints to create ants on a picture. We did exactly 20 ants on our page, and used it as an opportunity to practice counting even while we were learning about ants and the letter A.

The Ant and the Grasshopper

This classic fable, The Ant and the Grasshopper, is a great tale for teaching children about the importance of working hard.

Character Building

You can use the story of the Grasshopper and the Ant to teach your child about diligence and the importance of working hard.

Some Bible verses to go along with this theme can include:

Proverbs 6:6–8 – “Go to the ant, O sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise. Without having any chief, officer, or ruler, she prepares her bread in summer and gathers her food in harvest.”

Colossians 3:23 – “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.”

Judy Rogers: Go to the Ant

(Songs from the Book of Proverbs)

Go To The Ant. This was a music album I grew up listening to as a child. You can hear some of these songs on YouTube, but I would still highly recommend getting the actual CD as a complete collection. These songs are beautiful, with catchy tunes that teach valuable lessons straight from the Bible! (No, the words are not direct quotations of Bible verses, but the lessons that are being taught are all coming from verses in the book of Proverbs!)
